Note on the work

Here are a few animations I've produced either for myself or for clients. Please click on the links to see them all as they present a wide range of styles and concepts. Perhaps especially germane to the current project is the website title animation for HalfAPercentDonation.org. Please click on that link too.

Currently, my front burner project is my next app for Apple, an animal alphabet. Twenty six little animated circus paintings. I'll email you an animated .gif from that series. Simply download the file and drag it into your brower (safari, explorer, firefox, etc.) and it'll play. The entire project is one big animation that I'm doing.

Random animations on my YouTube channel

A short animation I did as a title for a friend's podcast called "The coriolus effect":

A short vid to promote a project I've been working on for a few years now:

Coloring book paintings

A short sales tool I put together to help my friend who wanted to rep this body of work to galleries in LA.

The Woodstock Day School

A slide show for the website of the Woodstock Day School. I produced the track with kids from the school and a band of teachers and parents and built a quicktime movie from still photos around the advertising theme of "left brain, right brain." You can see the video by clicking here: http://www.funism.com/ads/wds/wds_movie.html

The unfolding background of my first app

A quicktime movie that follows the painting of the background for Old MacDonald by FishTheMouse media, my first app for iPhone and iPad. The entire app. is made of rudimentary animation. More on the app itself can be seen here: http://bit.ly/d19BJ7

Half a percent donation

The idea's simple: get people to donate a small percentage of their money at the point in time when they're probably feeling their richest: when they sell real estate. Half a percent. A tiny amount. This simple animation was one of a few I did to dimensionalize exactly how much 1/2% is. Please click here to read more about this new idea in charitable giving.

Gipsy Kings logo test

I designed the new website and new logo of the world band Gipsy Kings. Please visit the website here: http://www.gipsykings.com/

An early logo design was animated here as a test to see if we might want some simple animation on the home page. Later, I came up with a home page concept that couldn't accomodate a dynamic logo treatment.
